It is amazing how FAST  books....templates....baking pans.....supplies......candy melts......displays....blogs.....websites....stores started popping up when the first Cake on the Stick....known as Cake Pop became a sensation..

Of course the Cake Pop craze hit my house as well and my kids.....my family....my friends started to ask the same question:......"WHEN?"

I can't believe October is almost over and less then a week till Halloween.

My kids finally decided on costumes.....and I was able to hit the local thrift stores in a search for articles of clothing to make their wishes come true.

I could go to the store and buy costumes, but what fun is in that, right?.....I am a person that loves to put her own personal touches....style.....originality on everything I do.....including cooking & baking.

 .......I know I am.......I love DUMPLINGS......

I prefer dumplings to rice....potatoes and pasta when it comes to having a delicious saucy dish.....nothing sucks up sauce or gravy the way nice and fluffy dumplings do.


Making fluffy traditional yeast dumplings is and art....art that I have yet to master (I think I just got too lazy cause my dad makes the BEST dumplings).

Once in awhile I love to make Tapas family dinner.

Usually this happens on Friday(as much as possible) when we combine our dinner with movie or a game night.

My kids love Tapas night. They don't have to set the table and sit down to a regular meal. They get to load up their plates with their favorite appetizers and eat it while watching a movie or playing a game.

It's so much fun.

 Thanksgiving dinner is over and as every year there is lots of leftovers.... What to do with them?

Well, you can have turkey dinner three times a day for next three days....or....you can try something NEW.

Myself I got tired of having fridge full of Tupperware containers and constantly making and reheating plates of turkey and mashed potatoes for my kids.

I thought there must be an easier way to deal with leftovers from now on.

 Last night I hosted our annual THANKSGIVING DINNER....

As usual it was a huge success....great company.....great food...lots of love and fun....the only thing missing was my wonderful husband who's working hard far away from home and couldn't make it....(72 days and counting till his arrival)

Anyway......part of my Thanksgiving dinner or any special dinner is a decadent dessert.....

This year I decided to treat my family and friends with RASPBERRY TRUFFLE BROWNIES beside the usual Pumpkin Pie.
